The news was not good today. Barnes & Noble has confirmed plans to pull out of the Alabama Theater. This is my favorite bookstore in town. It was one of the first ones that I discovered and it gives me such a wonderful feeling every time I enter. In fact I've been trying to remember how I discovered it. It was a place I went even before I started running all over the city by myself. It has been like my anchor bookstore and I don't even know where I'm going to go now. Nothing will have the character that this place does.
