Andrea

FWIW, I've always found fashion magazines speak to a person I never wanted to be. I enjoy looking through them sometimes, but I'm more interested in what everyday people wear. You might find looking at Wardrobe Remix on Flickr helpful for style ideas: http://www.flickr.com/groups/wardrobe_remix/ . I think you have to join now to see the pool, but I've been a non-contributing member for years and nobody's said boo about it. There's a little bit of everything there. Some posters also have blogs, so you can follow them that way if you like their style. Often they list where they got what they're wearing, so it could help with shopping too.

Another good fashion/style blog is Already Pretty: http://www.alreadypretty.com/. Lots of down-to-earth style advice there.

Thanks Andrea. Honestly I have never been a fan of those magazines either. I just know I need some kind of guidance to stop looking like a complete schlub. There used to be a magainze for plus size women and I miss that. Not everything that looks good on skinny normal women looks good on bigger women. I'll check out Wardrobe Remix.
